No I don't Sad

I checked them all, there was nothing in there at that time. When I changed it to 9:00, it seemed to work. I put it back and will see tonight.

I fell back to 0.93 version...
problems I saw in the recent versions were:
1) EPG not updating at night, I had to force an update during the day
2) playback stuttering in LiveTV. Seems to be worse once you swicth channels. You can tell that there is a problem, by clicking the blue button. The bar that should display the current show progress is 10 seconds or some other short value, and once you hit the end of that short recording size, you get a black screen for 1 or 2 seconds, then video starts again. Only workaround was to exit all, go back to the guide and select "watch" on the show you want to see

Both problems disappeared once I feelback to 0.93.10, so there is something different in the recent versions...
Sub, if you want me to post anything that might help, let me know. I'll backup my 0.93 directory, and will start a fresh 0.94.13 install to try to gather whatever you might need.

Can you provide the GBPVRRecordingService.exe.log files which covers the time the update was supposed to happen? It will clearly tell us why it did not update for you.

There has been no changes since v0.93 that I can think of that could cause this. Are you playing back on your PC, or on an MVP?

Do you have the elecard software installed on your machine? If so, try disabling/removing the elecard demultiplexer.

OK, I'll try to post the logs for the EPG update with the 0.93 and the newer version
Regarding playback, I am playing files on the MVP
I did install the Elecard codec, but the problem disappeared when I went back to 0.93, so I'm not sure how the codec could interfere... Unless you call that codec specifically in newer versions, and it's not used in the previous ones ?

I also had a problem with the EPG updating during the night. I don't think it was GBpvr though. I moved it from 3am to 4am and it's been fine ever since.

Sub,

Just curious, is there a reason you are supporting zap2it instead of titantv? I've been checking titan and they seem to have better descriptions.
HP a1230n
AMD 3700+
2048mb Ram
on board video
WinTV PVR USB2
(2) Media MVP's

because zap2it provide their listings for free for use in this type of application, and titan do not.

Sub- do you know when the keep aspect ratio will be implimited? when i play movies from my video library i presss F7 to get it to change to what looks like widescreen, but it is not 100% correct. All my movies look a little too tall. I am in the US if it makes a difference.

I dont know. Probably some time in the next couple of releases. It's on my todo list.

If they dont look right for you, you can define you're own aspect ratios in the config.xml.

The release seems to be going fairly smoothly, so I'm closing this thread now. Post any new problems in the support forum.
