black boarder

why would there be a black boarder when watching tv from cable tv provider app, but it's not there when watching on a normal tv?

Lots of different reasons this can happen. Where are black borders? Two side, or four sides? If you play a recording from that channel in another player, are they there too?

What is the source - a tv tuner, or set top box, or IPTV?

think i fixed it. rest some settings on my firetv and tv and seems to be fixed now.
