XML file being created

I've just successfully installed ver 5 but one question. When a recording has completed and saved to it's designated folder, an XML file with recording information is created and saved too. I just delete it but I suspect it should be saved elsewhere. 

Any help would be appreciated.

That is on option in config.xml to disable it change the setting to false. It might be handy as a backup if your database is ever lost.

Thanks Martin. Very helpful. I did scan config.xml but my eyesight failed me. My PC gets backup up every night so no problems there.
