I was not comprehending what you mean by changing the localhost. Could you please explain this more?

Sub was saying enter the URL in in your browser assuming your PC is the NextPVR server. If it isn't use the IP address of the server.

ie, when you view the NextPVR web app, your browser is pointing somewhere like http://localhost:8866/settings.html. Click in the address bar at the top of your browser, and change to http://localhost:8866/service?method=channel.list
