I have the program working on my server machine but the remote control executable isn't working and it worked in version 4. I have a batch file called DirecTV.bat but it doesn't seem to work. I have it pointed to the file and the directory. So in blaster executable directory I have C:\program files\NextPVR\dtv.bat but as a say it doesn't work. Any ideas?

Also when I start playing live TV the picture comes up for a moment but then the picture gets very dark and dim. I can't seem to figure out what's going on with that.

One last thing I have the client software on my laptop and I want to be able to connect to my server machine and watch TV through the laptop. Is there anyway to accomplish that?

you can try https://nextpvr.com/client.zip. This lets you connect to a server on another machine.

The channels shown in that log don't have any blaster set. ie, if you go to the Settings->Devices screen, and click your HDPVR device, you should see the list of channels. Do you see your .bat file listed next to each and every channel (in Details column)? If not, then you didn't specify the blaster before you imported the channels. You should be able to click the 'Update Channels' button, enter the blaster setting then hit ok - and should now see the blaster setting listed next to each channel.

Weird I see this when I go to that. But it still doesn't use the bat file.

Can you try watching channel #1, WINS, and post the logs again?

I did a reinstall and change some file locations and now the bat file works perfectly. Thank you very much.

A couple of other questions. The video quality doesn't look that good is that something to do with the decoders? Also I have it set in UI mode to TV viewer but it doesn't seem to take the setting as it still appears to be in PVR mode.

Looks like I forgot to remove that setting. There is no such mode in NextPVR v5.

EDIT: removed setting for next build.
