Hello All,

I run NextPVR in a docker enviroment on an Unraid server.  It normally runs without issues, but if I run the docker for more than 7 days continuously (exact duration to be confirmed), then I get this error for every subsequent recording:

[Failed: The operation has timed out.]

If I restart the docker, all is good, well for a week anyway.
Please find logging attached.

Any thoughts, much appreciated.
Damian

We'd need to see the logs to guess what that might be about.

Hmmm, I thought I had attached the logs.

I dragged the 2.2 MB zip file into the Attachments area and it came up with the green tick so I thought that was good.  It has a red X for me to be able to delete it (but I don't of course), however if I preview the post or save the post as a draft and go to edit it, the attachment is not there. I must be doing something wrong.

Also there is a notice in the attachment area saying that my allocated attachment quota is 25GB.  When I add the log file this changes to 27.15MB.
Your allocated attachment usage quota is 25 GB.

The forum limit is 2MB. You can use an external link to Google Drive, OneDrive or DropBox.

Do those logs capture the problem it is hard to tell? One of the reasons your zip was so large, if you have a running log of files you record that you store in the log folder, if you moved that locaation it might help. Also you don't redirect the output of your mp4 processing script so that is all being captured inside NextPVR logs. If you redirect output to a file or /dev/null it would be either to diagnose.

OK, what I will do is restart the docker and rename the script so that doesn't log at all. When it fails in a week's time, We should have a lot cleaner logs to send out.
