Timeshift Recording In Progress Not Working

Hi,

NextPVR was working fine.  Just switched over to a new PC and did a fresh install.  I can play recordings while in progress, however, any time I attempt to "timeshift" by using the slider bar thru commercials, the playback snaps back to the beginning of the recording and starts playback over.  Using the "forward" keyboard key has no affect. 

Any troubleshooting suggestions would be appreciated.

Are you watching in NextPVR.exe, or something else?

Yes, in NextPVR only (no Kodi or similar).  

Described behavior is in a Firefox window as launched by NextPVR.  

Playback of a recording in process doesn't work in the NextPVR desktop app either.

Just switched from ffshow to LAV in decoder/ renderer preferences, and that seems to have restored timeshift capability.
