Can't scan for channels

With my TV, Windows shows the recommended resolution as 1280x720, but I had to bump that down to 1176x664 or the task bar and start menu options go off the edges of the screen. I did check that my display driver (NVIDIA GeForce 8400GS)is the latest available.

Yep. low resolution can cause it too.

Install the LAV decoders from https://github.com/Nevcairiel/LAVFilters...taller.exe, and that alone may be enough to fix the decoder issue. If it doesn't let us know, and we'll let you know what to edit in the config.xml

Thanks again for all the help. Installing and selecting the LAV decoders for everything fixed my video issue too. No I just need to work out my resolution issues.
