I should be most grateful if somebody could tell me the frequency and SID of BBC4 HD (channel 107) transmitted from the Oxford transmitter.

I have tried scanning many times but it is not detailed on the list, all the other HD channels are detected.

Broadcsting starts at 7PM when it switches over from CBBC HD which is detected.

Thanks

Scan after 7pm to get the BBC 4 HD title in the EPG! Its CBeebies HD all day until 6:55 then at 7pm it becomes BBC4 HD.

I have tried this 6 or 7 times after 7PM but the station does not appear.

i simply need the frequency and SID so that I can enter the details in the database or perhaps the ini file.

Thanks

Thanks

i will try to scan after 7PM this evening as there does not appear to be a way of setting it up manually using NPVR.

Using SQL light appears to be complicated and appears to need additional information.

Thanks

I realised last night that I  was unable to map any of the channels  from the same mux as BBC4 HD.

Details from the Oxford transmitter web page :-

com7 H -7.9dB C55 (746.0MHz)
295m DTG-6 16,400W

Together TV +1,  Merit, 64 FreeSports, 70 Quest Red +1, 76 Now 70s, 86 More4 +1, 87 PBS America +1, 89 Court TV, 96 Forces TV, 106 BBC Four HD, 107 BBC News HD, 113 RT HD, 114 Quest HD, 205 CBeebies HD, plus 2 others

DTG-3 64QAM 8K 2/3 24.1Mb/s DVB-T MPEG2
DTG-6 256QAM 32KE 2/3 40.2Mb/s DVB-T2 MPEG4
DTG-8 64QAM 8K 3/4 27.1Mb/s DVB-T MPEG2
DTG-12 QSPK 8K 3/4 8.0Mb/s DVB-T MPEG2
H/V: aerial position (horizontal or vertical)
Mode 6: DVB-T2 27841 (32KE) carriers, 256QAM mode, FEC=2/3, 1/128 guard = 40.2Mbps

I am using a TBS 6280 DVBT/T2 Tuner  but recently replaced my motherboard, memory ,drive and chip,  the rebuild runs much faster than the previous setup.  Channels are tuned in very quickly.
Is it possible to slow down the scanning process to eliminate a speed issue.

Thanks for your help.

The probable cause is because the temporary Com7 mux is much lower power at 16.4KW and all the other mux are 100KW or 50KW.

Its also possible that your aerial is not wideband and has less gain at the frequency of the COM7 mux. This is less likely as you probably had to get a wideband aerial after the changes in 2018

Thanks Chris

Connected PC to the aerial that is connected to my LG OLED tv still no joy.

The tv has no issues with the channels on the low power mux which tends to suggest that the card is not as sentitive as the TV tuner.

Thanks for your help,

Normally you would need to capture the stream as I posted here https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid565368 and from the file sub can tell if it is NextPVR issue or not.

You also still haven't provided zipped logs which might show something else.

Post the logs showing a scan and I'll take a look.
