Hi thank you for this wonderul program.
I have installed NextPVR for the first time, I have version 5.2.6.220206 installed.
I like everything about it, but there is something that bothers me.
I would like to be able to use NextPVR in my PC with my mouse only, without having to use the keyboard.
So I want to toggle fullscreen with a mouse double click.
I have read the forums and it seems that there is an option for it.
I do have in my config.xml
<ToggleFullscreenOnDoubleClick>true</ToggleFullscreenOnDoubleClick>
But it doesn't seem to work, when I double click nothing happens no matter if I am in window mode or fullscreen mode.
I could do it from context menu, but I would prefer being able to toggle with a bouble click like I do in all my media players.
Is there something I am missing? With ToggleFullscreenOnDoubleClick set to true shouldn't I be able to do that?

This was an old NextPVR v4 setting. It doesn't exist in v5.

The problem is that some of the things you need to interact with on the screen require a double click. You wouldn't want it to toggle fullscreen whenever you need to do that

Unrelated but as a reminder I have a request to allow a selected EPG grid item to also load the dialoag on single click, like a button. This avoids the confusing to need for a triple click/touch.

I can make an option for that, but I wouldn't want it to be the default.

It doesn't need a triple click. Just double click on any item. First click moves the focus to that item, and show the description at the bottom of the screen, and the second click of the double click opens it.

I found with a UI client with touch this wasn't happening but that could be because double tap is slow.

In NextPVR, and Nlite, when you double click in the app, there is two events which fire. click (signifying the first click) and then dblclick (signifying the second click). Maybe you're only send dblclick?

Yes that would be it, I didn't know to fake a triple click. Could double click not just do it?

There is no fake triple click. They are equivalent of "first-click" and "second-click", and each generates an event in windows. When "first-click" happens you have no idea whether or not there might be a "second-click" following soon after, so you just handle them individually.

ie, "dblclick" represents the second click, not two clicks.

If I can find a way to test it here, I should be able to fake the missing first click if it receives a double click without the normally present first click in the same location.

Thank you for the reply.
If there are issues with double click toggling fullscreen, couldn't just be an option to add a button for it in the OSD?
Like the other buttons OSD has, for play, stop etc.
It would avoid confusion, having it "hidden" in the context menu makes it not very user friendly.
Thank you again for NextPVR, I am using it for the first time and it's so good, I love it.
