Hello everyone,

You'll have to pardon my ignorance but I'm brand new to this. I've got NextPVR set up on my Windows machine with IPTV and every time I try and record a show, something fails and it becomes unplayable. I can record a 2 hour show and it will say that it's something like 7 hours. Then when I try and play it, I get  'Streaming Failed (Transcoder Exited)' either right away, or at some point through the broadcast. I can watch live tv for hours just fine, but recording does this every time. I'm trying to put my finger on what's going on. I'm sorry if I uploaded my log file wrong, I did it in zipped format.

You'd need to try and record something these logs just show you watching a soccer game that doesn't seem to have any problems.

That soccer game is a recording, I specifically left it there before downloading the log, and it has issues. I can't play it.

To check for errors in the recording process we need to see it recording. The file itself looks to be junk but the process to play it is seems correct.

I'm sorry, but how do I show you something recording? do I need to send you a log while I'm recording something?

Not necessarily as long as it shows it recording. However if you start a test recording you can cancel easily it after a couple of minutes and then try to play it and then send the zipped logs.

Ok, here we go. I just recorded 7 minutes of this program. It starts playing fine, but won't let me skip at all. Letting it play normally it fails at right around 2:40 into the recording.

The web player is definitely not the best test for recordings, I would have tested in Kodi. However I do see lots of h264 errors in the capture. Could you put the file on OneDrive or GoogleDrive so we can have a look?

Looks like it plays and skip ok in nextpvr.exe. No obvious sign of problems in the file.
