schedule a recording from yiour phone

I’m using a sat card in my PC to watch freesat. In the freesat software, there is an app you can download which after you log in and pair with the box, you can access an epg from your phone and schedule a recording. 
 
Is ths possible in nextPVR or is there any software that can do this

You can configure NextPVR to run from the internet and then there are many ways to schedule from a phone.

I have never been able to access NPVR V5 from the internet. I have checked Remote Access, changed my username, password, and pin but still no luck. While I really don't need to access it while out side my home network it would be nice to have the ability. I was able to access it when I used NPVR V4.

Perhaps your firewall/internet suite or port forwarding needs more configuration It should not be any different on Windows.

I upgraded to V5 when I built my new PC and never thought to add port forwarding for the new PC...DOH!

It works now.
