Just started getting this over the last 2 days when I start the Desktop App.

Upon start, a popup appears with the text: "too many automatic redirections were attempted"

Screenshot of window and log file attached.

No idea what that means. Attach the log files zip and we'll take a look.

Hmmm.  Thought I did.

How about now?

Are you running v4 too. One of log lines indicates two sessions of nrecord running. If not have you rebooted recently?

It does look like maybe you have both v4 and v5 installed?

I do.  I thought you were allowed to have both versions installed.  Did this change?

It shouldn't have changed, that is why I asked if you rebooted recently.

Martin

I shut down the computer every night before I go to bed.  So, cold boot every morning.

Very odd, then, nrecord.log shows it starting on the 11th not the 12th when you ran NextPVR.exe so perhaps the service startup is failing. I would check the Windows event logs.

Also nrecord.log.3 show it running over 9 days in Feb so I didn't think you shutdown daily.

I did a test and do get that same error when v5 NextPVR.exe is using a v4 backend port. I can see the the redirections in the NEWA web.log since v4 doesn't support /api URL's
