xml recording file

I recently upgraded PC and switched NextPVR to version 5 from 4. I use HDhomerun devices on Windows 10. I now get an xml file for every recorded ts file which I didn't with version 4. How do I avoid these xml files being created?

In config.xml change this to false.

<StoreSeparateMetadataXml>true</StoreSeparateMetadataXml>

I can't be quite handy if your database ever becomes corrupt

In V4 they exist but as a separate file stream. They are quite useful.

Thanks @NumberFive I forgot about that too. I write to a share so without NTFS it always created the XML file.
