Come on man, we're just trying to help. We're asking for the information we think we need to diagnose the problem.

Post the logs, and let us know what distro you're using and we'll take a look what is happening.

reviewing thread , this is not a "repeat"

At no point did you ask about linux distro

Martin asked what OS you were using back here:

And I believe that you still have not posted a single set of zipped logs from the button on the web app Settings page. If you would do that, then we might be able to give you more helpful suggestions.

What you are seeing is not normal/typical for the setup that you describe. So we think that there must be something unusual about your setup. Therefore a full set of logs would be helpful for us to understand what you're working with.

Rather then guessing and to close this thread I just set up NextPVR for a simple test on a RPi3 with the LE service addon with two HDHR tuners and was able to play one channel in Kodi on the same box and stream 3 other 1080i channels to other clients. I think caching to the the SD card would be my big bottleneck here too.

From top

2491 root 20 0 752420 103188 33204 S 222.4 10.9 21:05.28 dotnet
1929 root 20 0 641076 93252 20084 D 51.0 9.9 39:23.09 kodi.bin

LE doesn't have htop but the 222.4% CPU seems about right for these slower SoC's. Recording 3 streams and watching one is much less CPU intensive which is probably a better use case. TVHeadend on the RPi3 might be a little lighter, though if this troubles you but I'd probably go with a bigger box myself for this kind of use.

And if I was running a docker image I would probably say so.

Regarless of Linux distro its not Windows, nor OSX the CPU usage is quite high

Remember to divide by four and that you are using a RPi3 that is not intel/amd. Kodi is showing over 50% which is high too but that should show you there is plenty of CPU left with 4 tuners being used regardless of the distro.

On your thread on the LE forum this post should give you a better idea of the free CPU https://forum.libreelec.tv/thread/25628-...post169413 with 3 clients include the RPi3 host watching different live TV.
