Hi All

Can I somehow select more than one harddrive to record on?
Right now it seems that I can only define one drive

Cheers

this would be nice.

Perhaps you specify a threshold when it falls under it it records to the other drive

I think his plugin moves the files from one drive to another by archiving it. Which is a good solution.

The idea with this is that gbpvr would switch where it records based on space. It makes sense.

Why not join the disks to make one big volume? It's quite easy to do using XP pro..

wow - I didn't realize that GBpvr didn't do that already... So the guys that have a half dozen drives (unless they are all combined to a single volume) are just using the extra drives to hold the old files and can't actually use that space for active recording?

Can they still use the GB interface to launch the recordings?

Hmm I have used raid but then when one disk goes or gets corrupted you loose everything, I dont like Sagetv but I know people who use it and they claim that it can split a file over two disk and play et back seamlesslee....???
But this problem is not a biggie...1 tera disks are comming and then it dosent matter Big Grin

Just wanted to hear if there where a plugin that solved this

the closest plugin to solving this is the video archiver which will archive it to another drive.
