I stopped dabbling with comskip many years ago as adverts aren't really much of a problem in the UK as their broadcasting is tightly regulated (and a lot of what we watch is BBC sans adverts)
For "production use" I think I would like to have the option (like Netflix) to skip intros rather than having NPVR autoskip and suddenly launch you into the show. But that's just me, I think this is a very interesting and useful feature for many users.
I don't think I'm an "ideal" tester for this feature as I only have a very small number of scheduled recordings, none many series and most of which are not very mainstream (like the superb Big Bang Theory) but if I can find time, I'll try and create a few start of show cuts if that will help the project.
cheers.

Without comksip you can just configure the edl not to autoskip, so the right arrow would move you past it for now. If you can give me a sample I'll send you the file I can make and you can see.

It only takes a couple of minutes for me to find the intro and make the fingerprint so I don't need mainstream just something watched regularly.
