Could you tell me the specification of tuning ini file?

My problem is NextPVR couldn't find some frequencies for ATSC and ClearQAM.
The channels NextPVR has found are working well. (even though the channel name has wrong characters)
I want NextPVR to find all channels.

TSCapture couldn't search for the channels which NextPVR couldn't.
I think these two programs might share the same channel searching function.

I should capture the channel that NextPVR couldn't find.

In this zip file, two ts files exist.

In Korea, some channel names has Korean characters.
May Korean characters cause this channel searching problem?

From your WinTV image earlier it looks like 16250 is QAM256 no 8VSB Is there the same thing showing for the clea QAM channel?

I downloaded captures.zip. Did you use the full ts mux option? They seem small.

I didn't upload WinTV screenshots.

I thought 8VSB is for ATSC over-the-air and 256QAM(ClearQAM) is for digital cable.
It's wrong... Digital cable can use 8VSB..

My home is ATSC digital cable only.

169250 frequency is ATSC digital cable using 8VSB type.
655250 frequency is ATSC digital cable using ClearQAM(256QAM) type.

Is there any way to specify 8VSB or 256QAM in the tuning ini file?


Video clips I uploaded have 10-second length.
But you can choose video stream.

Sorry I thought this was WinTV https://forums.nextpvr.com/attachment.php?aid=5562 Maybe sub can say if the QAM256 can be used in the tuning.ini like it is for satellite.

You should upload the full minute ts you are allowed. It gives more EPG for testing.

Ok yes the streams are there for sub to check so it is not a tuning issue. There is also an encrypted channel in the 655 stream.
