Could you tell me the specification of tuning ini file?

Looking at 169250_8VSB.ts, I can see NextPVR is finding the channels, but the screwy characters are stopping them from being listed:

I'm guessing 655250_256QAM.ts is going to have the same type of problem.

I'll take a look at what is required to get it reading these characters correctly.

Does this look better, or is it just a different type of wrong?

Or maybe these? These look a little more like Korean to me. I'm not sure they'd mix between English and Korean characters like this though?

Oh, yeah - I missed that.

NextPVR can't find 169250 frequency for ATSC.

Yep. I think I have this fixed now.

daymoon, try stopping your NextPVR Service, and replacing the existing NPVRTSMon.ax with this new one, then restart the service and try scanning again.

I think Korea's frequencies might be different from any other countries.



Instead, I could find ATSC channels, using my own edited tuning file.

When this patch will be released officially?
Does NextPVR have auto update function?
Should I reinstall NextPVR when the update is released?

Yep, sounds like it.

It'll be included in all future releases. The next release will probably be in the new few weeks.

Does NextPVR have auto update function?

No, but it does tell you on the Settings->About page when a new release is available. Just rerun NPVRSetup.exe and it'll upgrade your existing install (keeping all your settings etc).

I attached my own tuning ini file.
Even though being applied the patch,  NextPVR can't find any other frequencies except 83250 frequency.
But using this file, NextPVR can find the channels.
I wish this file would be some help.
