Greetings all,

My IPTV provider changed the server URL today & i can't for the life of me find out how to change it in the web player settings??

I thought if i went into 'Devices' i could change it there but all i get is a Xstream screen where i enter the new server URL, username & password.  I click on enter or continue & nothing happens.  EPG doesn't download.

Could someone please help me (with steps please) how i go about changing the server url.

Love the program.  Only thing is, the desktop app is glitchy - the video is jittery.  The web player works perfect - it records with no issues.  Video/audio is smooth.  Any reason why this would be the case - have an i3 laptop with 8 GB RAM so that can't be the issue but i can't figure why the desktop app doesn't work well but the web player does??!

TIA,

Ray

No XC code based servers can't be updated. Try to get the m3u URL (this is possible) if they change often.

Usually problems with the NextPVR.exe are because you didn't install LAV 32 bit, you didn't configure it for all media types in settings, or you changed the audio renderer from default.

Pretty sure these days you can do 'update channels' regardless of source (m3u or xc). However, if like prover server url itself has changed, meaning it can no longer download the list from them, then you're probably gonna have to delete the IPTV source and re-add it.

Thx for the reply!

My provider only supplies XC not m3u.  They don't often change servers but today they had a crash which meant a change from one server to the next.

As for the NextPVR client, i did not, in fact, install LAV 32bit but i did not change anything in the settings regarding media types or the audio renderer.

How do i delete the IPTV source & re-add it in the web player settings?  Like i said, i went into Devices but could not see where to change the server URL from the old to the new.

OK, i uninstalled then reinstalled app.  Went into Devices, clicked on IPTV Channel List, import using XC.  Entered server URL, username & password in the 'Import Channels' screen.  Clicked on 'Import' & got a message - 'Failed to download channel list:  The remote server returned an error: (511) Network Authentication Required.

I didn't get this message the first time i installed NextPVR?  I just entered my credentials & it worked!  How do i get past this error?

TIA.

P.S.  I have attached logs, if it helps any or sheds light on the issue

on the Devices page, if you press the ctrl key, a Delete button appears on the devices.

I know it's a little obscure. There is a note at the top of that page saying to press the Ctrl key for more device options.

This is an error coming back from the IPTV provider. It looks like you're entering the wrong server address, or username/password, or the IPTV provider is having issues at the moment.
