I quickly copied the backgrounds to imgur.com https://imgur.com/a/k4XVMMN github takes a bit more work. If your like own download it and copy it to the _Backgrounds folder, with whatever name you'd like and choose that name in the selection list.

I have this folder-

C:\Program Files\NextPVR\data\skin\Default\_Backgrounds with three jpg files in it called NPVR - Blue, NPVR - Dark, NPVR - Grey.

If I select a new one in Settings > General then the illustration image changes to the new one.
I clcik Save, nothing changes and going back into Setting > General its back to Default.
If I select a new one, Save and then Exit the client and then start it up again its still showing the old image and its set back to default in Settings > General.

I've tried restarting the server as well. Maybe I should reboot the PC, but its running MakeMKV at the moment.

If you run NextPVR.exe as admin does it work? I think all it really does is change background.jpg.

Thanks. It does seem that running as admin and Exiting properly does work. Rebooting might have helped in there somewhere as well.

It will need admin, I forgot one of the change posts v4 was skinning and some other settings were moved to the program folder making their configuration slightly more difficult.

Thanks. The trick (for me) will be remembering to use admin the next time I fancy a different backdrop.
