Schedule recurring edit

Creating a recurring recording are pre-populated with pre-padding & post-padding as default. But when editing the created recording these same two fields are something other than default usually blank, zero, or one. Is this normal?

I tried to reproduce this, but I'm getting the right results here.

How are you creating the recurring recurring recording?

After some trial/error it appears that if the recurring recording being edited does not have a channel from a source selected in the tv guide it causes this. I have a few channels selected from each of two sources which may not be a common use of the software. So this may be a one off issue that wouldn’t be encountered using a single source. The editor doesn’t look at all sources.

How did you create the recurring recording, and what settings did you select when creating it.

I create all manually not by the tv guide. By settings I presume you mean manual scheduler field entries. I type or paste in the recording name, choose the recording type channel & date then the remaining fields are left defaulted.
