I am thinking of switching to the server / client method. What I would like to know is will the mac client work like the Windows? I don't plan to install this on a Docker setup.

Thank you.

The web browser will be a lot the same. Sub wrote an Apple macOS client that is more GUI oriented and also an Apple UI client that works pretty much like NextPVR.exe. You can also use Kodi as a client with pvr.nextpvr or the knewc UI Client.

I simply am thinking about buying the new mac mini to use as a client. I'll set it to autoboot and then also use remote buddy or something to connect my Harmony One to it.

I've used the windows box for years and plan to still as a server. Is there somewhere I can read more about the client server model? I tried Kodi years ago and it was new the UX I hoped for.
