Disable Live-TV buffering when using Kodi NextPVR add-on

Edit-1: OK, I've followed the instructions as far as step 3 but I can't find the setting in Kodi PVR NextPVR client to enable direct streams. I'm running V20.4.1 of the client on my NVidia Shield and gone up to expert level settings to ensure I wasn't missing anything.
Edit-2: rebooted the server and the Direct Streams option now appears in the Kodi Client. Now after restarting Kodi, I now have the Status indicator on my server PC staying Green, and the status has nothing showing.

Odd, it should have shown immediately when you turned on expert mode (I should have noted that was required) and the server doesn't have anything to do with settings.

No problem with the help, I already had a simple python script to create it from those two files I asked for which I use.
