EPG update triggered approx 18:38 today

Annoyingly the logs don't go back that far, so I can't see what happened.

Is it always these same channels? I assume they're also set correctly to Freesat?

The logs were really confusing for me, but a full scan is actually started after another one completed so it is all there with the spam

His DVB-S tuner wasn't touched during that time.

Given the amount of confusing stuff in the last set of logs, I've done a cleanup on the channels and stopped all the Kodi connections.
All the channels are using Freesat for EPG except for 3 which are only broadcast on terrestrial.

Attached is a set of logs from an EPG update this evening. (Reboot of system and immediately did EPG update then took copy of logs).

There are still a number of channels missing EPG data which I believe is being transmitted

e.g. 
Trace Vault, Clubland TV, Now Rock, Heart Dance, Heart 90s, Now 70s...

I believe they should show up in the ts capture that I PM'd to Sub a few days ago.

Happy to be shot down if their EPG data isn't there :-)

The logs need to be zipped and under 2MB.

Since I think either the database is messed up or there is an issue in NextPVR doing both a Freeview and an DVB-T EPG update having the database would work better.

Did you ever rescan after copying your database from v4? That might also be an issue.

Martin,

Having got frustrated with a number of issues in my new build, I took the weekend to start from scratch.

Clean Windows 11 build on SSD (binned the old hard drive).
New install of latest prerelease.
New install of LAV
Scanned Satellite and selected the Freesat channels I want. Merged the two tuners
Scanned the terrestrial channels, selected the ones needed and merged.
Adjusted channel numbers to suit and downloaded Logos.
Checked all channels set to Freesat EPG with the exception of the 3 that only broadcast on Terrestrial.

Imported Recordings and Recurring backups xml I'd taken copies of before trashing the last build.

So this should be a clean system without any hangovers (database or config) from the V4 system.

Did you merge after tuning or copy? Copy would be a no-no.

The database with the logs would be useful to avoid questions like I have been asking.

Sorry Martin, what do you mean by "Copy"
Starting from no channels defined.
I tuned 1st Tuner on Satellite then selected the 2nd Satellite tuner which being blank, asked me did I want to copy the 1st tuners channels. Said yes.
Merged the channels (by name). 
Adjusted Channel numbers to get my preferred order.

I then tuned the 1st Terrestrial tuner, then selected the 2nd Terrestrial tuner which being blank, asked me did I want to copy the 1st Terrestrial tuners channels. Said yes.
Merged the channels (by name)
Checked all channels set to Freesat EPG except the 3 which are Terrestrial only.

Happy to PM database to you or Sub if needed.

I thought maybe DVB-T and DVB-S got copied together, I've had that happen here but it sounds like NextPVR told you the type it was copying.

I am actually getting tired of nagging you for logs though, I'll let sub figure this out.
