v6 Guide Data

Evening folks,
I've been having issues with NextPVR v6 and obtaining guide data.
 
When updating the guide it waits ~6seconds and moves on to the next channel, however it doesn't actually obtain any data. I've tried playing with the length of time (currently at 60 seconds, but tried up to 120 seconds) but makes no difference. I'm using the latest version of v6, but had similar issues on a slightly order version.
 
I can run v5 and that is able to obtain the guide data just fine, suggesting it's a v6 issue. I need to use v6 as I have to use the latest version of Kodi. Currently I run v5 to obtain guide date, then close and open v6 to watch live tv.
 
Any suggestions? I've got a funny feeling is a coding issue rather than a setting, the v5 and v6 both access the same config files on the NAS. I've attached log files from EPG downloads with v6 and v5.

Are you sure the config is the same and that you are passing through the optional UDP ports --publish 8020-8030:8020-8030/udp That is the first thing I think when I see.

Bit late replying to this! I’m not a computer coder and not familiar with Docker, so it’s taken a while to find time to learn some Docker basics. I’ve being playing with various versions and settings and still cannot get it to work:

I’ve downed the latest v6 image from Docker hub and ensured all the relevant ports are included, the same as the v5 version. I could provide screenshots of the ports if that would help.

I downloaded the NShared.dll from this thread, and through SSH and docker commands was able to copy the file to /app and /app/data. I used Sudo docker cp command to copy the file. I can confirm it is there but seemingly nothing changed and NextPVR cannot download guide data. How could I confirm NextPVR understands it is there and is able to use it?

I’ve run the EPG with the latest version, log files attached. Any thoughts on what I could try next?

What do you have for --env HOST_IP= in the two environments?

v6 is missing this line in the logs

You are right, I do not have the host IP specified for the v6 container, thanks for spotting.
QNAP Container station won't let me edit the container so I'll put my new docker skills to the test and create a new one through SSH. Might take me a few days to get it right! I'll try it with and without the NShared.dll.

It took a while but I managed to create a container through SSH with all the required settings - this time including the host IP variable! It all worked brilliantly and I didn't need the NShared.dll file.
