Looking to timeshift live radio

I'm a little addicted to the radio and only one station at that. The station has an app but it doesn't allow users to pause rewind or go back to a particular time of day. Which is why I'm thinking a PVR could help.  Also, the live stream from the app is 45 seconds delayed which would be nice to fix. I listen on my Android mobile btw.

Is this something NetPVR could work with?

I've got a crappy USB tuner card but so far I haven't managed to tune it. A better solution would be to connect a dab radio to the mic input. I'm not sure if there is a way to then get NetPVR to record and stream the mic audio.

What station exactly are you talking about?
What USB card do you have and is it RTL 2832 compatible?
Are you talking DVB radio or AM/FM DAB?

Just one of our AM stations in Australia which also broadcasts on DAB and DVB-t ( One of the audio only stations).

Yep it's one of those horable RTL 2832 cards that don't even come with drivers. The included antenna is useless and requires a connection to our home antenna. The socket is in another room.

OK I would start by ignoring radio hardware and saving this to into m3u file which you would import as IPTV

I didn't get it that their internet feed was delayed, albeit you want to timeshift which would normally mean the delay is not always an issue.

Would you prefer a solution for AM radio or using the audio input. Both are still possibilities?

Yeah I think using the audio input would be amazing.
