Delete Recording prompt

I do not want to delete any recordings, or at least when I want to. How can I prevent the message asking if I want to delete a recording when it has finished playing?

If there is I don't know of it, but technically we didn't specify the client. Kodi doesn't have it.

I only use NPVR.

You can set <PromptForDeleteAfterPlayback>false</PromptForDeleteAfterPlayback> in config.xml to get rid of this.

I made this change and even rebooted, however I still get the prompt.

You changed the existing setting right? ie didn’t add a new setting. Also, it was config.xml, not the config-don’t-edit file.

I checked here and it worked for me.

Maybe try opening config.xml again to check your change is there.
