Unable to delete recordeed TV program

Hello,

I recorded an episode of the game show The Chase and watched it yesterday.  When I finished, I attempted to delete it but could not do so.

I checked the network drive where I save my recorded programs, but the program I want to delete is not there.  However, it appears in the recorded programs display on the NextPVR web interface and will actually play if I choose to.

I just completed a session where I logged into the web interface, selected the program I want to delete and played a segment of it.  Then I stopped playback and attempted to delete it from the interface.  Nothing happened when I clicked the "Delete" button and the program continued to display as available for playback on the web interface.

Can you reboot, and try again? Your logs are full of the same error message, and don't show the actual delete attempt. I'm hoping we'll get a clear look at the logs after that.

Sub the IsComplete() bug locks the file so it can't be a deleted. I can duplicate this and have provided you logs on how it is caused. After the fact logs aren't much help because of the spam.

Reboot will clear the lock though, so it can be deleted. This is actually the only way to clear IsComplete() from messing up the server.

Thanks for the help. I rebooted the server and used the web interface to delete the file successfully. Let me know if you need anything else from me. I take it from Martin's comment that a new logfile would not help you.

Also, I'll note that this seems to be a rare problem. It has not happened with several programs that were recorded about the same time as the one mentioned above.

I had a similar issue on my setup recently. I found out eventually that it was my Plex server (I use to share my recordings and other media with family) The Plex server was locking the file so I couldnt delete it from Kodi or NextPVR. Both the NextPVR/Tuners and Plex backends are running on the same Z4 workstation. Do you have Plex Server or something similar running? 
Just to add I think the issue was with Plex locking the file and not releasing it, it seems to have resolved itself and not happened recently (There's been a few Plex updates in the meantime)
