Can't record scheduled programs

Hello,
I have a recording problem.
I'm using Windows 11, and NextPVR 6.1.4.230625 
I have attached the latest logs.

I can view live TV, record live TV, but any future recordings record nothing, and show this error " [Failed: No errors, but no data delivered. This is usually because the device failed to lock a signal.] "

Any help would be appreciated in troubleshooting this problem.

You are running the device in BDA mode. Is the SiliconDust software install on this PC and you have it setup for NextPVR mode? It is giving very intermittent signal reports.

You are also experiencing the IsComplete() bug so you will need to restart the server. It should be fixed in the next release but until then I suggest disabling thumbnails and timing generation if you want to watch in-progress recordings. It could be causing problems too.

thanks for the quick response
The intermittent signal could be one week signal I know about where mother nature hasn't trimmed the trees yet.
Sillicondust was already set to BDA compatibility, but I didn't know that existed.
I turned off thumbnails, don't really care for them anyway.

I can't find the "timing generation".
I'll try with the thumbnails odd and report what happens.

Here is how to turn off timing https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid584756 I wish sub had made these both opt in not opt out. Timing files do help address a design issue in NextPVR.exe but otherwise they do consume resources during creation. I don't recall which setting causes the IsComplete() bug but when the next version comes out you might want to re-add the timing logic if you find skipping in NextPVR.exe bad.

I tried these two things from the link you provided:

However I did not mess with ffmpeg.
Same error message:

What I don't understand is that I can record live, but scheduled recording don't work. Isn't that the same as live recording, just the computer doest it?

I can't answer for the problem because you forgot to upload the logs. Did you restart the server?

Recordings and Live TV could use different tuners.

I have attached the latest file after a failed recording scheduled for 9PM EST 10/13/2023.

I did a little experimenting and think the problem has something to do with my  system.
I scheduled 2 recordings, and set the sleep time long enough so the computer was awake when they started..
They both recorded fine.

Then I scheduled one to start when the computer was asleep.
That one did not work, with the .TS file being 0 bytes and the same error message.

Unless you have more advice, I'm going to poke around my power configuration to see what I can do.

I think you are on to something, however since this is a an HDHR I would expect if there were device error it would be network related.

thanks, you've given me some food for thought.

Btw, this is an upgrade from the previous version that ran flawlessly on a Windows 7 computer from the late 90's.

Windows 7 was released in 2009. If you can't get this working in ATSC mode you can try HDHR mode.
