Recordings not being recorded after antenna change

I am using NPVR on a Windows 10 desktop, with the Hauppauge WinTVDual tuners. I record over-the-air broadcasts, and recently upgraded my antenna. When I click the "live" version of some channels, it works. But if I make a recording, it doesn't actually record, it just creates a .ts file in the folder with 0 bytes. I'm seeing the error "No errors, but no data delivered. This is usually because the device failed to lock a signal".
 
I also had two channels that would record the wrong variation of the channel (as in 24.2 rather than 24.1). I have scanned for channels again and manually deleted some, so I may have solved it, but I can't reproduce at the moment.

Hard to tell since right now you are seeing the IsComplete() bug which steals tuners and generally messes up recording and Live TV. You need to restart the server to clear it.

Sub has likely fixed this for 6.1.5 but until then you need to disable thumbnail generation https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid584756 Thumbnail use depends on the client, if you like them you can reset them when 6.1.5 is released.

I have edited the config file (in NextPVR_data) to read "Extract Thumbnails: none" and "Generate Timing: false".
Restarted the NPVR Server, as well as the NPRV Service. Rebooted the machine.
So far, no change. I still have some channels not recording, just generating an empty file in Recordings folder. And I have a couple of channels recording a sub-channel variant. Strange.

That wouldn't impact the 25.1 channel which wasn't locking in your last set of logs, but it will make it easier to read the logs the next time you zip and upload them.

I have uploaded new logs to see if it helps with my problem diagnosis. I continue to be able to watch all channels "live", but have some channels that will not record. Do I need to downgrade to version 5?

It looks like your signal strength in general is too weak for good recordings, of course maybe we can't trust the strength being reported. Recordings do use a different tuner than live TV though.

I can't imagine why you think v5 would be better for this h/w signal issue. Based on your first post maybe the antenna "upgrade" wasn't as good as you hoped. Maybe try with WinTV and if possible install the standalone signal monitor. https://hauppauge.com/pages/support/supp...nitor.html It does open a standalone app which might work with NextPVR too.

I have confirmed that the channel strength is good across the board in WinTV, using their Signal Monitor. I only suggested downgrading software as a way to get back to a "working state" for me. The Hauppauge tuner seems to like the new antenna.

If you try picture-in-picture in the WinTV app, so that you're watching two channels on different frequencies, do they both work?

When you do live tv in NextPVR vs a recording, you typically end up using different tuners in a multi-tuner setup. (ie top down vs bottom up in the devices list)

Yes! The picture-in-picture is working just fine in WinTV. And both tuners show under the NextPVR tray status.

Maybe you re-scanned incorrectly or forgot to redo the first tuner and the tuners are out of sync? KATU was the only channel you used on tuner 1 and it appears to be on 20.3 on tuner 2 it seems to be 24.1 which matches Rabbit Ears.

In Settings Devices open the first ATSC tuner "Hauppauge WinTV-dualHD ATSC Tuner (#0)" (not the one showing #2) and hit the trash can to empty it. Then scan again and you should be prompted to copy it when you scan it the next time. Accept the copy.
