Localised Dates

I'd really like to see localised dates...unless I have missed something in configuration somewhere, it seems dates (in the web UI at least) are always US format:

10/31/2023 for today for example..

For anyone outside of the US and just a few other countries, that is wrong, and in the first 10 days of the month, often very confusing.

Would be great to either have a choice of localised dates (31/10/2023) - or for it at least to be shown in unambiguous 'computer format' i.e. YYYY-MM-DD

Well - there you go. Changed that to English (AU) and all is well.

Would have thought I'd come across that little bit of magic in my 30 odd years of browsing, but apparently not.

(and apologies for not searching properly - I tried local dates and dates locale and then apparently gave up before trying the obvious 'date format' search!)

Great, I wasn't sure since it never worked for me here in Canada where our official short date is yyyy-MM-dd but before that was done it was dd/MM/yy so I still get the American format.
