For years I've have my NextPVR setup to automatically scan broadcast EPG listings at 00:10 (i.e. ten past midnight). In the past I never needed to update the guide manually. However, I'm noticing that these days I have to Update the EPG manually every time I look at the TV listings. I've tried using different times e.g. 03:00.  I even tried putting the timing quotation marks e.g. "03:00". Does not seem to solve the problem. I should perhaps add that my PC is always running at ten past midnight! Any thoughts please on what I could try to solve this problem?

If you want to post the logs, I'm happy to look that your EPG update is happening at the specified time.

IPTV sources are notorious for only having a single day of listings, or missing listings altogether. I'm almost certain it wont be NextPVR issue, because we would have heard about it before now. Every time we've investigated these types issues in the past, it's come down to the user's guide data source.

That doesn't mean anything if your providers makes changes to the m3u file. Also if you are using XC login there are other possibilities. Uploading the logs is the only way we can help understand the problem. Best not to hijack very loosely connected threads, it doesn't cost anything to open a new thread.

And it works fine for the automatic update of the EPG at the set daily time. That is not broken.
Post the logs when you're having the problem, and we'll take a look.

Every time we've investigated these in the past, it's been the user's EPG source that was the problem, and I have no reason to think it'll be any different this time, but happy to investigate for you.

Reluctance to post logs generally points to the user trying to hide something. I personally wouldn’t help a user troubleshoot a problem without them. After all that’s why the logging facility is included in the application.
