How to change EPG "code page"

All your screenshots appear to be ok.
But not for me with NextPVR 6.1.5 running on Windows.
Even with the TS Capture tool, the channel names appear wrong.

While I am here, maybe you want to add my country+ISP+Regions.
Portugal MEO coax RF PDF
MEO is an ISP tut'ed by Altice.
Portugal Mainland, Madeira, Azores.
There are a few more operators but I've got no clue if why use coax. Maybe there also have PDFs.

If you want, you could create a new tuning ini file in C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\Tuning\DVB-T for your region, zip and attach it here and I'll include it in the next release.

I don't remember us having any users from Portugal before. Typically these tuning ini files files have been supplied by (and confirmed working) by users in those areas.

What's the problem with automap?

I did try changing the mapping, but the defaults certainly seemed ok after scanning for channels.

On Windows, automapped to none, then emptied the EPG, then automapped to DVB EPG, then updated the EPG and it went fine, and pulled in all the listings. Everything looked ok - no sign of odd characters etc.

Hugo84 says he couldn't automap by channel name on Windows, maybe he was using numbers (which doesn't work on Linux)

When you do automap to DVB, it doesn't use the names or number setting. Automap to DVB certainly seemed to work fine here.

It might have been a case that he needed to map (to xmltv) to none before mapping back to DVB...or just leave it on the default DVB after scanning for channels in the first place.

I asked him to automap to reset it from XMLTV so maybe the None step is required.

Hugo84 to show that NextPVR is using the correct codepage here is a translation for NextPVR.exe and UI clients created by Google translate.  I can't vouch for the quality of the translation but it is not English.

Unzip the attached into

C:\User\Public\NPVR-Data\languages

and change config.xml from Default to this

<Language>Portugues</Language>
