OK that is the issue with Kodi then. Has NextPVR always kept them separate, my old AC-3 clear QAM radio used to work with Kodi as 0xa and I know radio="true" on m3u uses 0xa even if the station is mp3/mpeg2

Currently the kodi addon is only treating the AAC ones as radio. The Kodi addon will need to be updated to handle the other type too.

Don't be sorry Marvi I wasn't clear I was replying to sub, I don't think we need the full mux now.

Originally there were only 0x2, and then the 0xA ones came along later (though a long time ago now)

I don't know if this can help you.
as I had already specified in the 2022 conversation when I first tried to approach Nextpvr, I come from a configuration with Mediaportal, with the Mediaportal TV server the radios were recognized and inserted into Kodi in the radio section automatically

Marvi, can past the channel.list output for that station in a message. I want to make sure it 0x2 and not 0x02.
I will do a test build but I won't ask sub to tag it for release just yet because the Kodi Windows build system is screwed up, they are compiling new add-ons with a higher c++ runtime then the stable Kodi installer installs. Martin

Sorry, unfortunately I don't remember the name of the channel, I'll attach the link to download the complete channel.list anyway
