Dumb simple Question

I am trying to set up NextPVR on my laptop, and "localhost:8866/login" is asking for my username/password. I don't know what account they mean. 
Do I have to register? and where do I do that?

The default login for a NextPVR install is admin/password.

No, that's for the forum login (used for support via the forums). It's unrelated to your NextPVR install login. The default is admin/password, but you can change it to whatever you want.

It does say it on the download page, in the first few sentences - but it's hard get people to read anything

All good though. I prefer simple problems like this one.

However since we can't assume users read everything which platform are you installing for. Windows and Docker already have the info with the download link some of the others can probably be improved on the forum and wiki.

Thanks Martin. My first little problem has been solve.
I am installing on Windows 10, and trying to connect with my RokuTV that is on my home network, but NextPVR is not picking it up.

The Roku player is not a tuner, it is a player. What is your tuner source?
