Recording broken?

Hello,
I just started using NextPVR and scheduled a manual recording for this evening. Recording was scheduled from 8pm to 1 am, but I canceld it at 0:40, as the desired show had already ended (to my understanding this doesn't delete whats already recorded, right?). But now the recording doesn't play correctly. In VLC the file says 31:51 and in the web interface it's also very short. But the recorded file is still 14GB big.
Is the recording damaged for good, or is there something I can do?
I did all this on WIndows btw.

VLC is certainly not the best way to tell if a file is good or bad. Upload your zipped NextPVR logs and we will have a look https://github.com/sub3/NextPVR/wiki/get-started so we don't have to ask you lots of questions.

I figured it probably was an IPTV provider error, I can't read this but you would have to ask them when happened

If you zip and upload the zip of this file D:\dazzle\Manual Recordings\olympiaende_20240811_20000100.timing we can see more way the files is bad.

Hm tah's sad.
Well there is not reallay an IPTV provider, as I just used a streaming url from the web.
Anyways, here is the timing

But if the file is broken, how can it still be 14GB??

NextPVR considers any streaming URL IPTV. Many times these files are meant only to be played live. Digital files are like that, you can take one jpg image append to another and another name it a jpg file but they aren't joined or even viewable.

The timing file clearly shows many good but distinct segments in the file, in on place it is almost like it restarts.

If you are really lucky you can just remux it

and maybe the resulting file will be playable.

That is all one line, your browser might have wrapped it.  Also there is a a syntax error try this

EDIT: If it was not clear, remuxing the file worked xD
