Cannot add my channelsdvr m3u

It won't give me an option to save / start

You'd need to give us more to go on than that. What happened when you tried?

You should just need to go to Settings->Devices, click the 'IPTV Device', then click 'Import M3U' and enter that url, then click 'import'. At that point you should be shown the channel list, and hit Save etc.

No changes will be made until you hit 'Save'. When you do hit 'Save' any new channels you have ticked will be added. Any existing channels will still be there.

I can't hit save/import I can download the m3u just fine. Its been a while since I have tried it. I enjoy the buffer that nextpvr provides.

I got it working, but its transcoding the quality down, how do I passthrough? I am using a chromecapture from channelsdvr.

If NextPVR can't detect that the server is providing audio and video it want for the web player it will be transcoded unless you use a direct play client. This logic include mp3 audio which sub doesn't want to support. The NextPVR logs would tell us why it is transcoded.

You didn't sent the zipped current logs which need to be obtained on the NextPVR web setting screen from what I say ffmpeg was copying not transcoding but there were a lot of ChannelsDVR server side errors which to NextPVR might indicate transcoding is required in the future. Full logs with an example channel name would help narrow it down.

What am I missing? It used to work. I wish I could totally disable transcoding and only have passthrough.

Can I recover old config files after doing a total uninstall/reinstall?

It also worked in the nextpvr native windows app on one of my links , maybe delay the timeout for it failing?
