@mvallevand
I have Npvr running 24/7 using the UK Freeview OTA EPG, normally has a full 7days data. Your welcome to a copy of my npvr.db3 anytime if it's of use to you

Thanks @jimil be careful I will likely take you up on that.

@ShadowMask it should be in Kodi v22 soon for EPG and recordings some of your data is shown starting here https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/pull/25643#...2302069560

Great news, I look forward to trying it out and thanks again for all of the hard work.

It isn't really hard work and the programming part is pretty basic and mostly fun. It should be in LE13 they are about a week or so behind on nigthlies. LE 12 should already be getting some benefit of this effort since the screens were pretty messy before with the S/E duplication.

That way if you scheduled it to record all "New: Love Island" episode, it's only going to match shows that have a title that include "New: Love Island" in the title, in effect giving you only the new episode (since these are the only ones with that exact name). The downside is that it'll end up in a folder called "New Love Island" or something like that.

Thank you so much for the version 7 release, I have been testing some of the new config flags:

I set both <DVBAssumeNew> and <DVBRemoveNew> to false in the config, however I do not see "New:" in either the nextpvr web tv guide, or in kodi's tv guide for programmes that show New: in TVHeadend.

Do you just need the usual logs to debug this, or do I need to include anything else?
Or is there something I may have missed with the setup?

Many thanks

Did you set those before or after doing the EPG update?

I believe I did, but just to doublecheck I will do the following tomorrow morning when it's not recording:

Empty EPG
Check config flags again
restart LibreElec (just in case)
Start an EPG update.

Hopefully that will ensure the flags were set and detected at the time of the EPG update?
Any further suggestions are welcome.

Thanks

Are you running your server in LE? If so how did you update the server?

Yes I do run the server in LE, I went to the addon configuration and chose Download current Linux NPVR.zip

It downloaded, extracted and restarted the server.

I then logged in via webgui ad server is at version 7.0.0.241105

Do I need to do anything else? I have rebooted the LE server a few times since the install.

I haven't cleared the EPG and re-started an EPG grab yet.

Thanks

Ok I was wondering because only LE13 has the update and there was a bug in the NPVR.zip downlod in the release install that doesn't update DeviceHostLinux so the database update and playback might not even be working so yes I would always like to see the zipped logs.

If you are running LE12 on x64 I do have a link to a zip file that do it properly (it fixes NPVR.zip, the power file you suggested and a few other things.

You would need to do an EPG update too.
