Recording Auto Transcode Problem and HDHR Viewing Problems in v7

Hello! I'm having a problem with Recording Auto Transcode the video in 1080p (.mp4) on v7. Everytime when I transcode the video, the original video doesn't delete except for HDHR recordings. It doesn't work in IPTV recordings.

Another problem is HDHR video keeps on buffing while watching it. It doesn't do this in v6. Everything works in v6, so thats why I switch back to Version: 6.1.1.221106 until the problem gets fixed in v7.

Appreciated, it does show where sub needs to look. I don't think NextPVR is supposed to be extracting thumbnail or timing files when autotranscode is used.

The good news is since you are running 6.1.1. you don't have thumbnails anyway so you can disable them. The easiest way is with config.xml since you can't disable timing file any other way.

Make those changes and let us know if it helps.

Note every time you downgrade before 6.1.4 you will lose those settings and they will be reenabled.

In your case you can edit C:\Users\Public\NPVR-data\config.xml in notepad

Great, that is why logs are so important, unfortunately a small team can't check everything in pre-release.

For now why not just turn off thumbnails if you are auto trancoding?
