Positive Feedback.

PC is in standby this morning :-)

Logs attached, so it can be checked.

For information -> deleted oldest log file, so that the attachment size does not exeed.

Also i deleted unused channels, so the EPG is faster finished.

I am sorry, but i have found another error / strange behavior, new to version 7.

In the EPG Data, the information for in the details in the description is cut off.

The detail description should go longer, and the last word is even cut of. On my TV the details are complete, so i think they are broadcasted correctly. Seems like the EPG scan cuts of information.

This i really no big thing, but of course it would be great it would load the fully text.

Any chance you're able to supply a 1 minute example full transport stream, so I can try extracting the listing data here?

Germany does a couple of slightly different things when it comes to extended show descriptions.

Hi sub, i know you had a tool in the past to record ts streams. Is that still available?

Or do you have a tip, what software is able to record full Transponder streams?

Here is his utility https://tscapture.com/ It works like NexPVR with a tuning file that you can shorten and put in C:\Users\Public\TSCapture\tuning\DVB-S

The file will be big about 200MB so you need to share a link with a site like OneDrive, GoogleDrive of filetransfer.io or another your choice.

I just did a test, to see if with new devicehostwindows.exe the error changes:

- Emptyed the EPG
- Did a EPG update
- Run fine -> but nearly no station has a listing......

Logs attached. Something is strange, had none of these problems with version 6.1.5.

Running update again right now, need the epg, that my recordings run.

Yes sub became aware of that issue in DeviceHostWindows last night. To refresh your guide date maybe load the last DeviceHostWindows https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid595866 if you have 35 minutes.

In V7 sub made an internal rewrite of OTA, SAT>IP and Freesat EPG processing logic. The code was being repeated in these sub systems plus Windows and Linux (3 flavours) processing was different so it was largely unmanageable. Now if sub fixes the description length error (not sure if it was in 6.1.5) he only has to do it once. Things are really close now.

For the length issue the data sure looks like it will show the problem. Many really long ones end with HD-Produktion and they seem ok but if you look here at the last 20 characters all the trunctated descriptions seem to be at 248 characters https://pastebin.com/37zB3WSC which will give sub a clue no doubt.
