Hello,

Have just started using NextPVR with Firefox under Linux MInt 20. It installed OK and I can watch and record TV.

The issue I have at the moment is that NextPVR doesn't wake my PC from Suspend in order to do scheduled recordings.

Am new to both Linux and NextPVR and am hoping there is a straightforward solution to this - other than leaving the PC on 24/7

With many thanks

Sorry, currently NextPVR only supports power management on Windows.

Although I would like sub to implement this, it probably needs to down in Microsoft's netcore not by sub. The expected high support cost for sub versus the dollars the user saves is probably not great.

I know my personal experience testing tuners waking up after suspend on 64 bit Debian has not been very successful especially USB devices.

Is this still the situation 4 years on?

Since there have been 2 requests (one recent) in those 4 years it is clearly not high priority but it was only recently I came up with a proposal for sub, since Microsoft didn't implement anything in C# over that time.

Why do I need to waste time answering to you twice https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid596981

Sorry I didn't realise you are checking many threads. I appreciate the time you took to respond and I have no doubt many others do too.
