I just upgraded to version 7 and the EPG is empty. Can I go back to previous version? Logs are attached, by the way.

This is a known issue and sub is looking into it. There is no supported way of going back.

Hi, I saw a new version today but not sure if this fixes the EPG issues. I installed it and get garbled text in the EPG. Kodi shows nothing in the EPG. I've never experienced a piece of software where previous versions are not kept. We always keep old versions all the way back to version 1 so customers can choose the one that suits them best. I do have an older version in a VM somewhere. Would it be possible to copy the files in Program Files in order to revert to the older version in the VM? Would the database need to be transferred over too?

I would have tried to help out but I didn't keep a backup Window s NPVR.zip either. Part of the problem for me is I ran the beta for a year and use the Linux version is running pretty well.
Ultimately though users should be responsible for their backups it is data and programs. Yes you can copy over "Program File\NextPVR" but don't expect any support. Martin

Good. It should work for many users but for UK users that have re-mapped DVB-S after converting it would have corrupted their database and maybe even required redoing all their channels. This is the main reason it isn't supported.

I saw in the release notes for v 7.0.1.241229 that the fonts for DVB EPG had been worked on but I still see the same issue.

I'd need to see the new zipped logs. I think more is going on in here, are you in Hong Kong? Sub might need to tell you a config.xml settin g and he probably will need a full mux too https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid598496

Thanks a second question on config.xml do you use any setting to prefer the Cantonese/Mandarin EPG or the English? There are many settings in config.xml so it is confusing plus I am not sure they are all used in by the DVB process, I do see another in the strings too /Settings/General/PreferredLangDVBEPG that isn't in config.xml
