Temporarily Suspend Recording

Hi

I'm in the process of moving recording to a new machine. Is there a way to temporarily suspend recording activity on the other system? I really don't want to get into uninstalling NPVR or deleting scheduled recordings, just suspend so I could easily revert if required. 

Is there an established way to do this e.g. through the NPVR front-end? Is there a service I can move to manual start?

You can disable scheduled recordings one by one but I would just stop the recording service and disable it. This also avoids potential issue with Schedules Direct if you use it. If SD is installed on multiple machines the EPG update times must be offset to avoid the risk of blocked accounts.
