Most DVB systems use unique SID for each channel, so that fallback logic has usually worked well. Unfortunately, it looks like Italy does not use unique SIDs across all the channels.

There are Italian and German providers which could explain that.

Yeah, that's a good point.

Can you let me know if this version helps? It gets a little less loose when looking for matches, like taking sid+onid as the least restrictive match.

That mapped correctly here, we probably still need the 578000 full mux since it doesn't have duplicated OIDS.
Code: 2025-03-02 00:10:40.185 [DEBUG][18] TSSecionParserEIT returning 1499 listings

I think this version might have done something. There is EPG for the channels where there was none before - I still have to check, whether the EPG has been correctly assigned, by at least now there appears to be EPG data. The logs are attached. An updated full mux can be found here: https://app.box.com/s/kdjqv51322vnvvmwrzekig8bjgnmmquk

The reason I asked fro the 578000 scan is the original post said that RAS Kika HD and RAS SRF zwei HD didn't have data (but they do with this scan) even though they were unique SID's. If that problem reoccurs that is the fullmux we'd need.

Great. That sounds promising.

An exception appears to be channel "RAS 3sat HD"474000 (SID = 25), which contains the correct EPG information but also EPG information from another channel (in fact there are then times, where this channel based on the provided EPG information would have two programs running at the same time). The wrong EPG information is relatively easy to spot, since "RAS 3sat HD" should only provide TV program in German language, but the wrongly intermixed EPG information provided is in Italian. As far as I can tell - based on the titles of the wrong EPG information inserted - this comes from a channel called HGTV (I have never watched that channel, so I am not sure). Let me know, if you need anything else.

Did you empty your database recently? Reading your comments I realize I made an assumption that was wrong. There could have been SID duplicates on channels you didn't have mapped which could be lingering.
