Schedules Direct is worth the price for many reasons but one that may not be apparent is the ability to point out guide errors and actually get them fixed. If you've ever tried getting guide errors dealt with any other way, you know this alone makes SD worth every penny. Not to mention the ease of integration with your chosen software. One thing I wish Schedules Direct could offer is the old "asterisk for new airings" that some of the XMLTV options formerly had. NextPVR does not pass on the "new" or "live" flags to clients other than web. I've mentioned this shortcoming in other threads, but so far this is still the case.

Most clients that use the NextPVR API (Kodi, UI clients, Emby, Jellyfin) do get the new flag. Which client are you talking about?

Sure I have looked at the TV Passport data but if you are going to pay why not use Schedules Direct and get full integration with no batch and get the meta art too for an extra $1.25 a month

This change to zap2xml.pl gets everything working again.  Thanks!

I am using the .exe version, so can't make this change. Where do I download the .pl file so I can make the change, and do I have to install anything to get a Perl file to work on my system? I've never touched Perl so not sure what to do here to switch it over from .exe to .pl, thanks for the help!

The problem is there are 3 threads on this stupid topic, sub needs to close 2. Here is a link to and updated zap2xml.py https://forums.nextpvr.com/showthread.ph...#pid601810
