Not sure how to reduce the size, yet. Logs are only 2 days' worth. Zip file is 2320 KB.

Thanks. It looks like the EPG update failed yesterday afternoon during one of many EPG updates you do which locked the tuner. You do keep your tuner primed I am not sure that is a good thing, at least for Canadian TV, we don't use a lot of minor channels.
This is similar to what I saw during testing the OTA update would eventually fail and lock the tuner. Martin

How often is the EPG update normally done -- is it just once a day? I changed it a few years ago to be more frequent because the updates were only good for about 6 hours. I believe now the updates are good for a longer period.
When the tuner locks, is that a hardware or software issue? Is there a way to recover without having to reboot the computer (e.g. restarting a service) ? When I attempt to manually initiate the EPG update, it just comes back without doing any scans and displays that there were 0 updates done. Thanks.

It depends with Scheduled Direct and in some countries OTA it can easily be done daily however as noted often OTA ATSC sucks. You can get hours and sometimes no data.
You might be able to restart the service in services.msc, depending if it is a driver issue or not, as long as it it locked a manual scan won't work. The reason for that lock is still unknown. I think sub optimistically hoped the changes to BDA OTA ATSC he made were enough. Martin |
