Hi, this problem only occurs when recording 2 consecutive shows. If I have a recording that finishes at say 1:30 p.m., and the second recording starts at 1:30 p.m., the first recording finishing at 1:30 p.m. is fine. But the second one, starting at 1:30, is always stuck in a loop of playing the first 30 or 40 seconds. Is there anything I can do to stop this happening?

Without logs there are no problems. Logs are available on the Web main setting page. Download the zip file and attach them if you want help and grab the logs close to when the problems occur.

Okay, I've attached the log files. There were two recordings, one between 7:00 and 7:45, the other between 7:45 and 8:30. I tried playing the 7:45 one and it went on a loop. The log was logged shortly after that. Thanks very much

Hello. Did you look out the log files? Thanks very much

I forgot to ask, mow many connections does you provider give you and do you have NextPVR set to match. The issue is definitely in the pre padding and post padding zone so you might need to set this to zero.

It's one connection and I'm pretty sure next PVR is set to match that, although I'm not sure where that setting is. The one connection for recording is fine as long as I'm not watching anything else anywhere, which I wasn't. The only option I can see on Kodi next PVR add on is 'override Kodi no timer padding default'. Which is currently enabled, I presume that has to be enabled? On the actual next PVR Windows setting, I've now changed the settings which were on one and two minutes to 0 padding on either side of a recording. I'll see if that resolves it. Thanks very much

Could you confirm on the Settings->Device screen click on your device and see what Max Connections says.

It says 'max connections 32'. I can't understand that. Who ever has 32 connections to an IPTV service. I presume that has to be changed to one?

Yes you can change that yourself that is the default. That way you will get padding if there isn't anything being recorded.

Martin.

People that are using freely available IPTV services, and not paying for a subscription, have effectively no connection limits.

ie, here in New Zealand all our main broadcast channels can be accessed over IPTV without connection limits
