EPG not updating Windows

I just updated NextPVR and can't seem to update EPG.
Seems to be in an endless "Scanning Freq: _ " loop.
I don't use Windows on a regular basis, but EPG seemed to work before this.

I noticed that I have  DVB/ATSC EPG and  Schedules Direct options... I usually use  Schedules Direct on Linux.
Is  DVB/ATSC EPG necessary?  Didn't see any way to change anything other than  DVB/ATSC EPG options/settings.

I can watch TV...but no guide information.

Any advice or suggestions appreciated.

It's not endless ATSC updates are just long and you didn't let it finish when you sent the logs. Basically you need to map your channels from OTA to Schedules Direct to use Schedules Direct because you didn't set it to SD at the beginning. To automap you will first need to set them to None.

Also you configure either ATSC mode or HDHR mode not both.

Once again you have helped.
I don't know why I didn't think to look at channel EPG source.

I don't think that I have to worry about QAM channels, but what is the difference between ATSC and HDHR?
Isn't ATSC just the OTA detectable channels?

Different interface to the SD hardware on Windows, I thought we discussed that on your Linux thread.

HDHR scans using the SD app so you don't need to have a long scan. ATSC mode (Windows only) allow multi-rec so multiple recordings are possible on the same channel (typically the minor numbers) without using another tuner.

sounds like HDHR is really for me if it uses Schedules direct....and don't need the multi channel recording

I meant Silicondust app for scanning. For sure if you plan on still using Linux HDHR mode is the way to go.
