VOD not updating

VOD not updating

I'm trying to update/import the VOD from my provider.  When I update the channels on the device it says there are vod channels, in the update channels says: Done (838 vod) (838 vod)

When I choose the VOD menu item in the browser, it's empty.  Any idea what's causing that?

Did you try CTRL-F5? If it is still empty send your zipped logs

Do you know the format of your VOD (mp4 or mkv or something else)? You probably need to PM sub the author of NextPVR the URL for IPTV/VOD so he can check further.

Certainly weird, I got it working by stopping the service setting the ImportVOD to false starting then stopping the service and setting it to true.

Not weird ImportVOD means do not create the separate VOD entries. Why did you change it, that is not the default?

Possibly your provider doesn't have groups set for the VOD. Hard to know without seeing your specific url.

It's not advised to do that. This was an old setting, and the name isn't very clean, but it was about whether to import the VOD entries as actual channels (not VOD). This generally leads to a setup with far to many channels, and every thing goes slow because of it.
